February Roundup In Pictures: Paris, Anniversary, Book

London in Bloom.
This blooming magnolia tree was one of the first nice and surprising things I found in February. Spring came to London early.

Andrej and I and the Eiffel Tower.
Andrej took me to Paris — no wonder it was amazing! I still haven’t seen half of the sightseeing, but there is going to be the next time.

Enjoying French food in a local bistro.
We had a small tour de Foursquare and visited local bistros and restaurants, where we had the most amazing conversations. Here I realised what it means to be a writer and an entrepreneur to me and Andrej said I haven’t been this lit up for quite some time.

Le pont du neuf, Paris.
… and I realised how much I really love this guy.

Le macaron a Notre-Dame.
Later on we went to Notre-Dame. You don’t have to be religious to enjoy the peace of a sacred place.

Andrej and I at Moulin Rouge.
We were also a bit naughty. We went to Moulin Rouge and I absolutely fell in love with the dance performers.

A walk by Millbank Embankment.
Back in London, I woke up from the Paris dream, and I got present to that if not now, then I’m never going to start my writing career and do my business. So I “downgraded” my part-time job to once a week job. Financially, it was my worst month in the past six months, but there was a lot to learn from it.

Celebrating our 2nd anniversary.
On February 28, Andrej and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. We talked about what has been working (mostly everything) and what has not been working (mostly just our work) and we completed that. We’re going to create a new future for us that we love.

My dad, I and my boyfriend Andrej at the book launch party.
At the very end of the month, on Monday, 29 February 2016, I launched a collection of short stories, Wired & Socially Awkward: New York. It was a bliss and I am happy that my dad and was there, plus a whole crowd of people. I’m really grateful for having them in my life.
